This piece, entitled “Rising Light” is from their Moderne Collection and is an asymmetrical fantasy cut of heliador set into a striking sterling silver pendant and surrounded by heavy opalite beads. Heliador, a precious gemstone also known as golden beryl, was discovered in Namibia in 1910 and is still mined today in Brazil and Madagascar. Opalite is a semi-transparent, man-made stone created in such a way as to be slightly hazy and irridescent.
